Volunteer @ QLC

Become a Counselor Assistant

It takes a lot of talented people, both staff and volunteers, to create the Quaker Lake experience each summer. Becoming a volunteer at Quaker Lake Camp is an excellent opportunity to:

  • Develop leadership skills through hands-on experiences and training

  • Grow as a spiritual leader

  • Strengthen communication and teamwork abilities

  • Gain volunteer experience while giving back to an impactful ministry

Counselor Assistants (CA’s) live in a cabin with a group of campers and assist the counselor in providing for the campers’ needs. They also assist in teaching classes, complete cleaning assignments, and help with all camp activities. Volunteers participate in Leadership Development time each day that gives them an opportunity to ask questions, learn about what it’s like to work at QLC, plan worship, and develop relationships with other volunteers.

Counselor Assistants are chosen to volunteer for 1 week of the summer. You will select your preference of week in this application. Please provide 1st, 2nd, & 3rd preference based on your availability.
